Bondus receives financing for further development of bonding technology
Bondus is the first company in the province of Overijssel to receive Early Phase Financing (VFF Overijssel). The funding will be put towards further development of their unique manufacturing process for bonding polymer components for medical products. This innovation is especially suitable for microfluidic devices and will be able to accelerate market entry of new devices by reducing production complexity and costs.
VFF Overijssel is provided by Oost NL, a fund made possible in part by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate and the province of Overijssel.
Bondus has potentially developed a way to optimise the production of lab-on-a-chip tests. If successful on a larger scale, this could lead to significant cost reduction in healthcare.
